How much does a share cost?

A Standard Share for the 2015 season costs $600. The Every Other Week Share is $330. The Family Share is $690 and is roughly 25% larger than the Full Share. We also offer a Spring Share that is full of early hoophouse greens as well as the first early spring crops.

How many does a share feed?

A typical Standard box feeds 2 adults that eat a good amount of vegetables in a week. Due to individual differences in eating habits, this is an estimation based on customer feedback and knowledge of box contents. We also offer Every Other Week boxes. These are the same as the weekly box, just delivered every other week (EOW). If you feel a Standard share is too much, we suggest an EOW Share or sharing a Standard box with a co-worker, family member or neighbor. The Family share is enough for two families that want to share a good amount of produce each week but don't want to commit to a full share on their own.

How do I become a member?

Simply follow the online sign-up at our website.  Just go to the Join tab to get started. Spaces are limited; your signup and 1st installment/payment will  hold your spot

Can I become a working member?

We are accepting applications now and have limited space available for this season. We require a probationary first shift for all new worker shares. Our work shares spend approximately 3 1/2 hours per visit on the farm weeding, planting, harvesting and more. At each visit, work shares receive produce that is available, typically the equivalant of one weekly box. The produce may vary from that week's CSA boxes.

How does delivery work?

Boxes are all delivered on Thursday afternoons to pick-up locations around Dane County. Check the signup area for pickup location details. Boxes need to be picked up during the specific site pick up times. If you forget to pick up or need to make arrangements you must contact Andy to do so. All boxes left overnight with out making arrangements will be donated.
