News and blog
Hello and welcome to week three of the season. I ran out of room on the newsletter for some info. First, it would really help us out if you picked up your veggies with a bag of your own and left the boxes at the sites. We are running low and don't want to order more this year if we don't need to. Thanks. Also, I teach cooking classes at All Through The House kitchen store in Stoughton almost every Monday and we still have spots available for some classes in the summer session. You can visit www.shopthehouse.com to learn more. They are a lot of fun, I promise, and Kim likes to pour wine! You will learn more than you think.
Have a great weekend and we hope you enjoy this nice weather coming our way.
Please check your status on the website to see if you need to shore up any payments and if you think there is an error please email me and we can figure it out. Springtime is crazy and even I make mistakes:)
Below is the link. Let us know if it doesn't work. You can also cut and paste it into your web browser and it is also available on the website.
Also, let me know if you didn't get your cookbook if you ordered one or if you would like to order one. We will begin selling the new cookbook from Fairshare next week.

Thanks again for making the farm possible.
Hello and welcome to week #2 at Sprouting Acres. The weather is getting us down other than it's great for working outside, just not for heat loving summer crops. Oh well, we will probably be complaining in three weeks that it's just too hot and dry. It's Wisconsin. Enjoy your veggies, more are on the way.
If you are picking up at Dorchester, First St., Regent, or Vilas, you will be picking up on EVEN box numbered weeks. You will need to pick up your boxes on the 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22 weeks. That means you will start with the 2nd the box of the season and end with the last (the 22nd)
Those dates are....
June 6th, June 20, July 3*, July 18, August 1, August 15, August 29, Sept. 12, Sept. 26, Oct. 10, Oct. 24
If you forgot to pickup your purchased cookbook last week, send me an email before 12:00 p.m. tomorrow and I will be able to drop them off at the site again. Otherwise we will get it to you soon. We will be posting about the new Fairshare cookbook in the near future. It's a pretty neat book. We will have those available for sale as well as the A to Z cookbook all season.
If you are picking up an EOW box this week, please take one bag with asparagus and herb plants. There will be a note on the pickup checkoff list. Also, please check off your name when you pick up your full share or EOW share. This helps us get ahold of you if you forgot to pickup or if there is another problem.
Below is the link to the newsletter. If you can't just click on it, then cut and paste it to your web address bar. You can also check out www.sproutingacres.com and it will be the latest news on the front page.

Hello,
I am again writing to remind everyone that we had pushed the Spring Shares and main season shares back by one week because of weather. This week is the begining of the main season. Full 22 week shares start this Thursday and everyone will get a newslettter/email on Wednesday night. EOW boxes have received a separate email as well as this one.
If you have any questions at all, please send them our way. We want this week to go smoothly for us and for you. If you are unsure about your pickup location, check out your status at the website. An email will be sent with your info. If you purchased an A to Z cookbook from us when you signed up, they will be at the pickup sites for the first box this Thursday and for Even EOW boxes, they will be at sites next week.
Thanks.
Andy
Hello,
I am just writing to remind everyone that we had pushed the Spring Shares and main season shares back by one week because of weather. Today is the last Spring Share and next Thursday is the begining of the main season. An email was sent out about EOW shares and it will be sent out again early next week as a reminder which weeks to pick up. Full 22 week shares also start next Thursday and everyone will get at least two reminders via email as well as a newslettter/email on Wednesday night.
If you have any questions at all, please send them our way. We want this next week to go smoothly for us and for you.
Thanks.
Andy
We now have a pickup location on Vilas Avenue, about a block from the zoo and Zuzu cafe. If you haven't already, let us know if you would like to change your pickup location.
Thanks
Did you know Andy teaches cooking classes almost every Monday at All Through The House in Stoughton?
There are still some open seats for a few of the summer classes. There are even a few spots in the CSA box classes. Just give Kim a call at the store to reserve a seat. Visit shopthehouse.com for class schedules and descriptions. Hope to see you there.
Hello,
I'm checking in one more time for people that may have recently signed up or if you missed the email about a Vilas Ave. pickup option. If you would be interested in switching to that area for your pickup, please let me know so I can get it set up with the homeowner. It is about a block from the zoo.
On that note, if you have an EOW share you will be getting an email today about which weeks you will pick up, even or odd. We are finalizing box numbers today.
Andy
