News and blog
Welcome to week 5! We are 1/4 way through the season already. We hope you enjoy the new treats in the boxes this week. We will be looking for some help in about two weeks when we harvest the garlic. Check out the newsletter next week for more info.
Below is the newsletter link.
Have a great weekend and a great holiday!
Hello and welcome to week 4 of your CSA. We have some delicious new veggies this week as well as favorites like strawberries and sugar snap peas. We hope you try something new this week and have some fun in the kitchen with the whole family.
Thanks and have a great weekend.

Hello and welcome to week three of the CSA season. This is an odd week so if you are an EOW share picking up at the Farm, Rockdale, Cambridge, Oregon, Stoughton, 4&20, Regent St., Monona or Vilas Ave., this is your week to pick up.
The newsletter link is below...
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Hello and welcome to week 2. If you signed up for an Every Other Week (EOW) share and your pickup site is Fen Oak, Hermina, Dorchester or MMSD, your first box is this week!
It will be a rainy day for pickup so you don't have to worry about produce wilting but you will more than likely have a dripping wet box if pickup is outside. If the pickup lists/checkoffs are drenched, don't worry about checking your name off. If you have an issue getting to boxes/sites today as there is supposed to be some severe weather, just send Andy an email or call so he knows and can notify site managers. We need the rain so don't curse it too much:)
Note the pea/strawberry picking event on Sunday in the newsletter. 9-12 am. We could use a little help getting things picked after this rain and would love to see/meet you at the farm.
Have a great weekend and enjoy your veggies. The newsletter link is below.
We will not be at the market downtown Madison tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!
Hello and welcome to week 1 of the 2015 season or week 5 if you had purchased a Spring Share with us as well. We are happy to get the main season underway. The weather has been pretty nice for Wisconsin. A few hot days, a few sticky days, rain, frosts!, and just really nice days. We hope you have big plans for preparing your bounty over the next week. Don't forget, all the newsletters, spring share included, and all the recipe links are available at the website on the right side. If you haven't already liked us on facebook, please do. We post at least once a week with some news from the farm as well as videos and pics. https://www.facebook.com/pages/SPROUTING-ACRES/300196663134?fref=ts
If you have any questions about your share, please send Andy an email, firstname.lastname@example.org or if more of an emergency, call him at 608-469-2319. Don't forget to refer to the email last week about pickup times/locations. Here is the link again. http://sfc.smallfarmcentral.com/dynamic_content/uploadfiles/1320/pickup%20locations%20and%20times.pdf
NOTE: EVERYONE IN THE CSA WILL GET THIS EMAIL/NEWSLETTER EVERY WEEK, EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN EOW SHARE AND YOU DO NOT PICK UP.
Thanks and have a great weekend. The newsletter link is below.
We will not be at market tomorrow. We are getting ready for our first CSA shares next week, planting and most important of all, celebrating Hazel's first birthday!
Have a great weekend.
Sorry for the faulty link. Here is the Newsletter link for this week.
Hello and welcome to week 4 of your Sprouting Acres Spring Share. This is the last week before the main season starts up. We hope you have had a great month with us and our food. We hope you are joining us for the main season but if not, thanks again and have a great summer!
Have a great weekend and enjoy your produce.
